L. Todd Mower, 60 of Markle passed away on Thursday morning, January 19, 2023 at the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Todd had worked as a Business Integration Planner for 25 years at BAE Systems, retiring in 2020. He also enjoyed farming, working alongside his family for many years. Todd was a 1980 graduate of Huntington North High school and had attended Huntington University. He was a member of the Markle Church of Christ and served as a Worship Leader on the Missions Team and a member of the Master’s Pantry. Todd loved music and was a wonderful musician. He loved spending time with family, and especially his grandkids. Todd enjoyed taking pictures and traveling.
Todd was born on May 28, 1962 in Huntington, a son of Lawrence and Judith (McBride) Mower.
He was united in marriage to Kathie A. (Newhouse) Eppard on November 26, 2003 in Markle. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include his children: Christi (Nick) Tackett of Fredericksburg, VA, Bryan (Ericka) Mower of Roanoke, Evan (Liz) Mower of Fort Wayne, Heath (Amber) Eppard of Markle, Luke (Brittney) Eppard of Warren, Blake (Rachel) Eppard of LaFontaine and Chad (Chandra) Eppard of Fort Wayne; his mother: Judy Mower of Markle; a brother: Troy (Lori) Mower of Woodbury, MN and his mother-in-law: Nancy Newhouse of LaFontaine. Seventeen grandchildren: Madison, William, Elijah, Anna, Brooklyn, Olivia, Caden, Kaylie, Baylen, Elysium, Lillyin, Olivia, Gaige, Weston, Elleigh, Eastyn and Edenn.
He was preceded in death by his father Larry E. Mower.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Markle Church of Christ, 455 E. Morse St., Markle, IN.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Markle Church of Christ, there will be one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Church.
Interment will take place in the Markle Cemetery.
