Celebration of her life will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home with a visitation one hour before the services.
Agnes was born on September 15, 1933 to Arthur and Meta (Drews) Kroll. She was baptized on November 12, 1933 and she was confirmed in her faith on May 25, 1947.
She married David Wetzel on June 29, 1952 at St. Paul Church of Christ. She spent many years providing childcare. She enjoyed baking cinnamon rolls and making chocolate and lemon pies.
Agnes Wetzel was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David, and a brother, Walter R. Kroll.
She is survived by four daughters: Cynthia Banta and husband, John, Phyllis Koester and husband, Keith, Judy Moore and husband, Lynn and Melanie Coomer, 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, sister Ruth Hegefeld, brother Arnold Kroll and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Jason Banta, Brett Gorgas, Blake Garrett, David Moore, Adam Cornett, Jason Ehlers, Craig Pruitt and Adam Dudik. Honorary pallbearers are her nephews.
