Allen Ray Carthel, 54, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Visitation will be Friday, February 21, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Adams Funeral Home.
Allen was born on September 23, 1965 to Wesley Carthel and Jolene Reager in Olney, Texas. He was employed by Pete Bonds Ranch since 1994. Allen considered Pete a “father figure” and adored the rest of the Bonds Ranch family. Allen was an avid hunter. He lived life to the fullest and Pattie was his rock.
Allen Ray Carthel was preceded in death by his Father, Wesley Carthel; Grandparents, Johnny and Gladys Reager, and AR and Cecil Carthel.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his Wife, Pattie Carthel; Daughter Wendy Myers and husband Jeremy; Grandchildren, Colten Myers and Amilee (AR) Myers; his Mother, Jolene Harvey and husband David; Brother, Rodney Carthel and wife Jaclyn Carthel; Niece, Lynsie Carthel and Nephew Tyler Farco; and numerous friends he considered family.
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorials to be made to Bancorp South in Marlin in the name of Colten and Amilee Myers
