

Arnold Kunkel, 78 of Marlin entered into rest Friday, October 26, 2012. Services will be 10:30AM Monday, October 29, 2012 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Delton Shifflett and Chaplain Judy Prather officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin. Visitation will be Sunday 6PM to 8PM at Adams Funeral Home.
Arnold was born December 16, 1934 in Riesel to Theodore and Annie Wegworth Kunkel. He was a letter carrier for 25 years at the USPS in the Waco office retiring in 2001. Arnold coached little league for 25 years and served in many capacities at the First Assembly of God Church, helping build this Church from the ground up.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Jean Kunkel (1987), and brother Robert Kunkel(2012).
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Kunkel; sons, Larry Kunkel and wife Cindy; Paul Flentge and wife Amanda; daughters, Jena Scaman and Dennis Taylor; Tricia Stephenson; brother, Steve Kunkel and wife Julietta; grandchildren, Eric Westerman and wife Julie; Megan Westerman and Burl Jordan; Kayla Scaman, Kyle Taylor, Addicyn Kunkel, Leah Stephenson, Lauren Slafka, Parker Flentge and Abby Flentge; great granddaughter, Claire Westerman and soon to be great grandson Luke Westerman.
