Beverly Gamble

Beverly Alberta Lea Gamble, 67, of Marlin entered into rest Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, August 10, 2012 at Adams Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Blundell officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be 6PM to 8PM Thursday at Adams Funeral Home Chapel.

Beverly was born November 21, 1944 in Lubbock, TX to Robert and Frances Sammons Moore. She was a Nurse at Torbett Hospital for many years. Beverly was previously president of the “Community Garden Club”. She loved cooking, sewing, doing crafts, decorating and doing yard work. One of her favorite things to do was bargain shop, she always bragged that she bought her grave marker at half price.

Beverly was preceded in death by her grandmother, Della Snodgrass, her parents, and stepfather Earl Easter.

Survivors include husband of 17 years, Marion B. Gamble of Marlin; sons, Lloyd Clinton Smith, Jr. and wife Karen of Mexia; Charles Lyndon Young, III of Marlin; Marion B. Gamble, Jr. of Winter Park, FL; daughters, Karen Elaine Koliha of Riesel; Krystal Lynn Nickerson of Idaho; Ronda Whitman of Florida; Linda Martin of Florida; Rhonda Fix of Austin; brothers, James Moore of Marlin; Billy Moore and wife Kathy of Marlin; Donald Moore of Bellmead; Kenneth Moore of Marlin; Clement Moore and wife Kathy of Riesel; sisters, Sharon Barton and husband Mike of Bellmead; Betty Jo Jaster of Marlin; and special friend, Elaine Kunkel of Marlin.

She was blessed with wonderful grandchildren Jacob, Zachary, Cheyenne, Kendall, Morgan, Kody, Rebecca, Zach, Robert, and granddaughter to be, Taryn.

Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Pallbearers will be Michael Moore, Matthew Moore, Mark Moore, Christian Rose, Christopher Rose, and Zachary Sheffler.
