

Diana Johnson McKenzie, 65 of Grand Bay, Alabama entered into rest Monday, February 20, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Rev. Selcaraj Rakshatanathan officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin. A Rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Julian Tyboroski officiating. The family will receive friends before and after the Rosary.
Diana was born June 24, 1946 in Highbank, TX to Gordon and Elline Kocian Johnson. She enjoyed ceramics, quilting, crocheting, and canning. Most of all Diana loved to read and research genealogy.
Diana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Cherry Almon and one brother, James Johnson.
Survivors include her husband Donald McKenzie of Grand Bay, Alabama; daughter, Theresa Wolfe and husband Randy of Grand Bay, Alabama; grandchildren, Micheala Carpenter of Hewitt, TX; Rachel Wolfe of Grand Bay, Alabama; step-grandchildren, Joseph Wolfe of Florida; Ryan Wolfe of Florida; great grandchildren, Jaxson Wolfe of Alabama; Connor Wolfe of Florida; Austin Carpenter of Hewitt, TX; brothers, Gordon Johnson, Jr. and wife Pam of Houston; Jerry Johnson and wife Diane of Tyler, TX;
Rodney Johnson and wife Jan of Mooreville, TX; Richard Johnson and wife Rhonda of Marlin, TX; sister, Susan Neumann and husband Clifford of Marlin, TX; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Neumann, Clifford Neumann, James Johnson, Justin Johnson, and Ronnie Neumann.
A special thank you to Aunt Marie for her loving care during Diana’s final months.
