Eric P. “Big E” Rosas, 39, of Marlin, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Marlin with the Reverend Calixto Morin, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, January 28th at Adams Funeral Home. Mr. Rosas was born on January 16, 1975 in Rosebud. He worked for Dollar General, loved his dogs, music and was a member of the First Mexican Baptist Church. Big E, coached girls little league softball for several years.
Survivors include his father; Fred Rosas and step mother, Olga of Marlin, mother; Jeanine Haberman and step father, Terry of Waco, brothers; Geric Rosas and his wife, Elizabeth of Marlin and Zachary Henson of Waco and nieces; Natalie F. Fonseca, Julieanna Fonseca, Lorena Fonseca and Nevaeh Rosas. Memorials may be made to the Marlin Little League Program.
