Frances R. Pineda

Frances R Pineda, 85, of Marlin, TX, passed away Tuesday, February 10th, 2015 in a Waco Hospital. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 14th, 2015 at Saint Joseph’s Church with Father Ron Feathers as celebrant. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at Adams Funeral Home on Friday, February 13th, 2015 at 7:00p.m.

Mrs. Pineda was born June 4, 1929, in Lockhart, TX to Miguel and Francisca (Sandoval) Ramos. She married Ancelmo Pineda on November 24, 1959, they have celebrated over 55 wonderful years together until his death on February 28, 2007. Mrs. Pineda was a lifelong member to the Catholic Church; she was a devoted, loving and faithful wife. She was a caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her younger years she enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and caring for her kids. Mrs. Pineda enjoyed watching TV shows, soap operas, game shows, being involved in activities at the nursing home, but most of all making friends. She also loved her dolls, Daisy, and Tootsie. Mrs. Pineda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers; Paul Ramos, Arnulfo Ramos, Trinidad Ramos, and Jose Ramos, sisters; Juana Ramos and Cruz Ramos, son; Felipe Pineda, son-in-law; Steven Fox, Sr, grandsons; Rudy Robles III and Joseph Mango, Jr., and great-grandchildren; Jose Jesus Ancelmo Pineda and Darlene Escamilla.

Frances is survived by: brother; Victor Ramos and his wife, Anne of San Antonio, TX, sons; Judge Pineda and his wife, Maria of Marlin, TX, and Patrick Pineda and his wife, Joyce of Marlin, TX, daughters; Yolanda Moreno and her husband, Jesus of Marlin, TX, Diana Fox of Marlin, TX, Patricia Ayala and her husband, Richard of Marlin, TX, and Esther Mango and her husband, Joseph of San Antonio, TX., 21 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
