Irene Crosby, age 94, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 in Weatherford, Texas. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday , July 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin, Texas with Pastor Doug Howell officiating and interment to follow in Cego Cemetery in Falls County, Texas .
Irene was born June 6, 1921 to Oscar and Julia (Silas) Osment in Dot, Texas. She was a former resident of Port O’Connor and Fort Worth, Texas. Irene retired from Fort Worth Independent School District where she served as a Food Server. She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Julia Osment; husband, Charles Harold Crosby.
Irene leaves behind her son, Harold Wayne Crosby and wife, Beth; daughter, Pam Goodwin and husband, Bill; grandsons, Mike and Jerry Crosby and Chris Kennedy; granddaughter, Renea Ward; great granddaughters, Abby and Sydney Crosby; sister, Louise Sirney.
