

Raymond "Crow" Rodriguez, 70, of Chilton, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Monday, January 16, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waco with Father Benjie as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Marlin. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 15th at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin; Rosary will be recited at 4:00 PM.
Mr. Rodriguez was born on August 30, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Luis and Julia (Canales) Rodriguez. He married Mary Garcia on May 6, 1967 in Marlin and they celebrated almost 50 wonderful years together. Mr. Rodriguez was a very laid back person who loved going to the casinos, playing bingo, scratch off tickets and the Dallas Cowboys but his true love was his grandchildren; he loved his family very much. He was the former president of the Home School Association with Saint Augustine and the Cursillo’s when he lived in Dallas. Mr. Rodriguez was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luis and Julia Rodriguez; brother, Juan Carlos "Bobby" Rodriguez; sister, Rosemary Rodriguez; son, Baby Rodriguez and grandson, Roy Alex Rodriguez, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Rodriguez; sons, Raymond Anthony Rodriguez and his wife, Lydia of Dallas, Roy Alex Rodriguez and his wife, Nicole of Waco and Robert Andrew Rodriguez of Waco; grandchildren, Raymond, Aidan, Robert, Roslynn, Ryan, Roman, Cole, William and Reid; brothers, Luis Rodriguez and his wife, Felicity, Robert Rodriguez and his wife, Mary Lou and Roy Rodriguez and his wife, Gloria all of Dallas and sisters, Mary Helen Herrera and her husband, Gabriel, Chris Alonso, Josie Zisman and her husband, Martin and Judy Rodriguez all of Dallas.
