Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marlin. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.
Richard was born on July 7, 1935 in Marlin, Texas. He married Rebecca Morin and celebrated 69 years of marriage. He was a truck driver for many years and a part-time Rancher where he raised pigs, and cows. Richard loved spending time with his grandchildren and having BBQ and drinking a cold beer. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lucinda Elfrez, son, Edward Elfrez, brothers, Fred Elfrez, Sam Elfrez, sister, Minnie Beltan.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Morin Elfrez, sons, Michael Elfrez and Richard Elfrez, Jr., nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
