Altan Fredrick St.Amant, Jr. "Al" heard his Savior Jesus Christ speak the words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant, enter thou into the joy of the Lord." on August 24, 2021, after 4 months of courageous hospice care. Altan is preceded by his late wife, Marguerite Schmitz St.Amant and survived by his children, Bryan St.Amant and Lenai St.Amant Boye. He delighted in the blessing of his grandchildren, Derek St.Amant, Michael Boye, Jason St.Amant and Christina Boye Cross as well as 7 great grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren. His surviving siblings are, Marvel St.Amant Creppel, Catherine St.Amant Creppel and her husband, Manuel Creppel, Edgar St.Amant and his wife, MaryAnn St.Amant.
Anyone who knew him would attest to a life so admirably lived by Altan Fredrick St.Amant, Jr. because of his faith in and obedience to God and devotion to his family. "Tookie" would tell you he was a bookkeeper by profession, but those who sought his over 60 years of tax expertise will say what exceeded his acumen for business matters was his gentle, sweet spirit, his kind and generous heart, and his sincere desire to help a fellow brother or sister in need. First Pentecostal Church Westbank was his spiritual home for multiple decades.
The proud legacy Al leaves his family and friends is one of profound faith and trust in God, treating others as you desire to be treated, and sharing the joy of letting the world know we are Christians by our Love.
A Memorial service will be held at 12:30PM on Friday, November 19th, 2021 at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home. A Memorial Visitation will begin at 9:30AM and continue until the service time. All relatives and friends are invited to share fond memories and express your condolences at www.WestsideLeitzEagan.com.
