Darlene Rita Duffourc Couture Byrd peacefully entered eternal paradise on Sunday, June 20, 2021 after struggling with multiple health issues for numerous years. She leaves behind two daughters, one son, three granddaughters, and one great grandson, whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by five sisters and her best friend. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, and one stepbrother.
She lived a simple life. She enjoyed working in her garden, going to the casino, feeding the squirrels, watching Judge Judy, and working her puzzle books. She lived a quiet life of serene fulfillment.
She will be remembered for her sense of humor and her outlook on life. Her favorite expressions were "Oh, Well! and "Whatever!"
