Dave Sanderson, Jr. passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of the late Rita Sanderson. He was the father of David J. Sanderson, Carolyn S. Perez, and the late Patrick W. Sanderson; and father-in-law of Charles Perez and Cathy Sanderson. He was the grandfather of Tina M. Adams, Jeffery J. Sanderson, Tammy L. Lanius, Stephen C. Lanius, Jamie L. Swindler, Kelly S. Sanderson, and Jeffrey C. Perez, as well as many loving great grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. He was certified by the American Society of Appraisers and an OSHA certified crane inspector. He was retired from J. Ray McDermott Construction.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin on Monday, May 16 at 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and continue on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until funeral time. Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery.
