

Born on March 17, 1956, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Debra was the daughter of Ida Mae Silcio and Andrew Guillot. Her life was rooted in the vibrant culture and close-knit communities of southern Louisiana, where she spent her years surrounded by family and friends.
Debra is lovingly remembered by her husband of 30 years, Joe "Bado" Caulfield; her sons, Lenny Bernard (Jenny), Bryan Bernard (Nicole), and Ryan Bernard (Jackie); and her step-children, Gaylynn Baudoin (Rocky) and Grady Caulfield (Melissa); her Godchild Hope Caulfield; her siblings Elaine Guillot and Larry Guillot. Her presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ida Mae Silcio and Andrew Guillot as well as siblings Roland & Eugene Guillot.
Debra was cherished for her generosity, compassion, and loving spirit. She had a remarkable gift for cultivating both gardens and relationships, tending to each with care and devotion. Just as she nurtured her plants with patience and love, she poured that same devotion into her family and friends. Her presence was a source of comfort and encouragement, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and unwavering love.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Hospice Nurse, Melinda Harlow, and all who provided care and comfort during this time.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 9:00AM on Saturday, September 20, 2025 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana.
