Edward Joseph Pizani

Edward “Eddie” Pizani passed away peacefully while surrounded by his immediate family on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Born in Algiers, Louisiana on September 25, 1951 to the late Edward and Violet Pizani.

Eddie is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Kathi Pizani. Eddie is survived by his only sister Masie Comeaux and her daughters Melissa and Jennifer. He also leaves behind his best friends who stood by and helped him after the loss of his wife; Laura “Lolly” Lala, Wade and Penny Morris, and Sheri and Willie Lewis. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Amy Lebouef, Faith Justice, Ashley Tucker, Wade Morris Jr, and Maggie Morris Cusamino to cherish his memory.

A wonderful and loving man with an infectious sense of humor, Eddie was loved by every person that met him and was known for his fantastic sportsmanship in darts and pool and his love for watching movies and his knowledge in music. Eddie never met a stranger and he always made life an adventure. He will be dearly missed by so many people whose lives he touched over the years.

Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services held at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home located at 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 01, 2025 at 11:00AM. Visitation will be from 9:30AM until 10:30AM. Burial at Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna will follow funeral services.
