Effie Lou Cain passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Richard Mack Cain Sr. Loving mother of Ronald Frank Cain, Michael David Cain, Don Kevin Cain and the late Nettie Levina Cain, Richard Mack Cain Jr., Shirley Denise Cain Punch and Clifton Carl Cain Sr. Devoted grandmother of Ricky Cain, Susan c. Hiniosha, Roslind P. Gardner, Leroy Punch, Ronnie Cain Jr., Steve and Mark Cain, Clifton C. Cain Jr., Chad Cain, Michelle Rodrigue, Debra Nadison, Donell McLean, Danette and Derek Cain. Proud great-grandmother of Nicholas Nadison, Taylor, Cameron, Kadyn and Kenli McLean and Avin Cain. Sister of the late Buster, Aubrey, Tinker, Bessie, Reese and Ivelee. Daughter of the late Nettie Edwards and Frank Smith Sr. Also survived by her other great-grandchildren who reside in Missouri, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mrs. Cain will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Aged 95 years, a native of Pitkin, Louisiana and a lifelong resident of Marrero, Louisiana. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 5101 Westbank Expwy., Marrero, on Friday morning, January 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Westlawn Park Cemetery.
