Eric Micheal Gaudet passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016. He had just made 30 years old. Loving son of Timothy and the late Cynthia Gaudet. Brother of Peter Gaudet (Deborah), Wendy Blanchard (Chad), and Timothy Gaudet Jr. Uncle of Destiny Gaudet, Peter Gaudet Jr., Michelle Blanchard, Chad Blanchard Jr., and Alyssa Blanchard. Grandson of Shirley Gaudet and the late Leslie Gaudet, Angelina Champagne, and Clifton Champagne. Also survived by many other relatives and friends. Eric was a native of Westwego and spent time in Myrtle Grove. He was a fisherman and construction craftsman by trade. He was extremely generous and good-hearted, and helped everybody who was in need. Eric had a way of making an impression on everyone he met. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, meeting new people, and seeing new places, especially the outdoors. Eric will be greatly missed by all. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend his funeral service from WESTSIDE LEITZ-EAGAN, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Sunday afternoon, December 4, 2016 at 1:30.
