German Guillermo Carcamo, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of Eda Ofelia Clark Carcamo of 50 years. Father of Julia Carcamo and German Carcamo, Jr. (Jodi). Grandfather of Ashley Stanley and Marshall Scott Carcamo. Son of the late Julia Mendoza Carcamo and German Carcamo Crespo. Brother of Louisa O. Hernandez and the late Yolanda Carcamo Cervantes. He was a native of Honduras, and resident of Marrero for 44 years. He was retired from the Merchant Marine, and traveled the world, bringing back gifts for friends and family, but he most loved spending time with his family.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Inurnment will follow at Westlawn Park Cemetery. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
