Grace Cemo Phillips

Grace was the wife of the late Earnest A. Phillips Sr. She was the mother of Earnest A. Phillips Jr. (Lucretia), the late James E. Phillips and the late Elizabeth P. Ray. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Carrie Cemo and the sister of the late Vincent Cemo, Joseph Cemo & Anthony Cemo Jr. Grace was the grandmother of the late Ryan J. Phillips, Theron & Aaron Phillips and Erika Ray. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Ryan A. Phillips, Zachary Phillips & Caroline Phillips.

Grace was a former member of the West Jefferson Medical Center Auxillary, The Italian American Society, and the Altar Society at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Our Lady of Wisdom for their compassion and care they showed Grace for the past three and a half years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home Chapel. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, Westwego.
