Jeanette Marie Perez

Jeanette Marie Perez passed away peacefully on August 25, 2018 at the age of 66. Born August 18, 1952 in Westwego, Louisiana to Herbert and Isabel Perez. Known as “Nanny Net” to everyone in her life, Jeanette was a loving woman with a big heart who lived for her family. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family during each holiday and gatherings. A huge Saints fan who loved playing Pokeno with her girlfriends, Jeanette was also a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church for most of her life. Survived by her son Mark Cheramie; Granddaughter Makayla Cheramie; Two sisters, Peggy Perez and Patricia Hernandez; Two brothers, Wayne Perez and Libby Perez; Niece Starlet P. Allo (Darrell Allo Jr.); Godchildren, Darah Allo, Darrell Allo III and Bailey Allo. Jeanette also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and godchildren to cherish her memory. Preceded in death by her oldest brother, Herbert Perez Jr. and her oldest sister Marion Sevin. Family and friends are invited to attend services on Saturday September 1, 2018 which are being held at WESTSIDE LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME located at 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana.
