Josefina Himera Cuartas of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the age of 84. Josefina was born in Colombia to the late Hector and Margarita Guevara. She was married to Libaniel Cuartas for 56 loving years. Devoted mother of Ana Teresa Lirette (Shane), Libaniel A. Cuartas (Sarah), and Pedro Jose Cuartas (Denise). Loving grandmother of Mariela Josephine Lirette, Libaniel Antonio Cuartas, Susana Alicia Cuartas, and Rafael Danilo Cuartas. Josefina is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends that will miss her dearly.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the Mass time.
