Lena Romano Ales of Marrero, LA on Friday, November 29, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Peter Joseph Ales. Mother of John F. Ales of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Ann King of Falls Church, Virginia, and the late Carolyn Kent. Mother in law of Thomas King and Tyler Kent, M.D. Daughter of the late Frank Romano and Josephine Trupiano Romano. Sister of the late Joseph Romano and Felicia DeJean. Grandmother of Elizabeth Noland, Laura Guillen, John Forrest Ales, Peter and Tommy King, Mackenzie Alston, Aleson Clarke, Tyler and Ashton Kent, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ales was the Administrative Assistant to the first five Jefferson Parish Presidents and served as the first President of the Archbishop Shaw Parents Club. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from Westside LEITZ-EAGAN, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Friday Afternoon, December 6, 2013 at 12:30. Visitation will begin at 10:00 in the morning. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna.
