Matthew William Creppel

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Matthew William Creppel on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Affectionately known to family and friends as “Redd” or “Redd Dog”. He was born to Bradford “Buster” Creppel Sr. (Evelyn) and the late Patsy Verdin on April 6, 1982. Matthew was a proud lifelong resident of Lafitte, Louisiana. He is survived by his siblings, Danielle Posey (Terry), Jessica Mamolo (Ted), Melanie Creppel and Bradford “BJ” Creppel Jr. (Mistie). He was a proud uncle to Jacob Posey (Theresa), Cammie Bankston, Gracie Posey, Alissa and Kobe Mamolo, Abigail Granier, Kelci and Izabella Verdin, Treven, Brandon, and Austin Vinet, Lexie Perrillioux, and Krista and Jace Creppel. He was the great-uncle to Kruz Vinet. Matthew was a loving god-father to Logan Verdin, Savannah Alexie, Gracie Posey and Jace Creppel. Although he did not have any children of his own, he was a great father to his fur-babies, the late Bear and his princess Kocoa. Matthew loved spending time with family and friends, watching wrestling, and eating his favorite foods. He was a sweet and loving man who will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 11:30 am at Westside Leitz-Eagan, 5101 Westbank Expwy. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am.
