Myrtle "Myrt" Bourgeois Aucoin

Myrtle “Myrt” Bourgeois Aucoin passed away at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the age of 75. She was the beloved wife of Carroll Aucoin, Sr., the loving mother of Thomas “Tommy” Aucoin, Sr. (Wanda), Kim Haber (Larry), Timothy “Timmy” Aucoin (Cindy) and Carroll “PeeWee” Aucoin, Jr. (Connie Costanza) and the devoted grandmother of Karen Fury (Keith), Charlotte Callaway, Thomas “Lil Tommy” Aucoin, Jr., Amber Choina (Corey), Abbie Aucoin, Kimberly Aucoin, Brandi Aucoin and Heaven Costanza. She was the great-grandmother of Kristin, Kaiden, Bruce, Kila and Carson. She was the daughter of the late Evest J. Bourgeois and Belle A. Christen Bourgeois and the sister of Anita, Dan, Roland, Jenny, the late Norman, Rita, Ruth and Max. She was also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Myrt will be remembered by her many friends at Azaela Bingo Hall.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Chapel.
