She started to work at Geophysical Trade Services (GTS) where she met, Whit her husband and became a US citizen. They had 49 years of a very blessed and rewarding life. At GTS, she started as an entry level person and upon resigning in 1984, was the General Manager of the Well Log Digitization department. After GTS along with her husband, and other business partners, they founded Wellograf, a Well Log Digitization Company. She was their General, Business and Operations Manager. In 1996, she and her husband became the sole owners of Wellograf.
While at GTS she was fortunate to have 2 overseas assignments. One in Caracas with GTS and the other in London. Made many trips within the US, accompanying Whit on his many business assignments.
She was a loving generous wife and friend. She brought peace and love of God to her friends and business associates. She sought God's help, guidance and love throughout her life. While working at GTS, she made regular lunch time visits to St. Patrick Church which was a block from GTS. She would say her prayers and was constantly thanking God for her blessings. She truly loved God and this Country.
She loved music, dancing, shopping, traveling and fine dining. Whenever, there was good music you would see her dancing to it's tunes. She could be seen shopping in the French Quarter, Magazine Street, and other shopping areas. Her husband would say “The only thing that saved him was that it was difficult for her to make any purchase decision. But when the items where purchased they reflected her fine taste in clothing, jewelry and decorating”. She and Whit really loved one another and Enjoyed life to its fullness. She leaves us with many fine memories.
Whit would like to express his appreciation to Iris Bush, Ebony Butler and Isabel Perez for their care and compassion.
