Patricia Marguerite Peters Keyes, born on October 31, 1956, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 69. She was a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana born to the late George B. Peters and Marguerite Mercadel Peters. She was the wife of Bernard H. Keyes, Sr. Loving mother of Bernard H. Keyes, Jr. Grandmother of Sereniti Keyes and Faith Clark. Patricia was the sister of Gloria Frazier (the late Leonard), Noella Rochon (Harold), Sylvia Branch , Gerald Peters, Ronald Peters (Melody), the late Cheryl Napoleon, the late Gwendolyn Gorum, the late George Peters, Jr., and the late Nolan Peters. Patricia is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Friday, February 13th, 2026 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 7300 Crowder Boulevard in New Orleans, Louisiana. The visitation will begin at the church at 10:00AM and continue until the Mass time. Patricia will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Cemetery in New Orleans following the Mass.
