Phyllis Ann Bates, age 84, of Belle Chasse, Louisiana passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025. Phyllis was born in Pikeville. She was married to the late Joe J. Bates for 60 years. She is the beloved mother of Angela J. Bates and the loving sister of Gerald Bentley.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents Noah Bentley and Nancy Tacket, her siblings Annette, Sue, Judy, Rhonda and Noreen, George, Don and Kenneth.
Phyllis will be deeply missed by her family, friends, nieces and nephews.
