Richard "Richie" Bartholomew Lawson III

Richard "Richie" Bartholomew Lawson III of Belle Chasse, Louisiana made his way to Heaven on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the age of 33. Richie was born in Gretna, Louisiana to Richard "Rich" B. Lawson, Jr. and Catherine B. Lawson. He is survived by his step mother, Jan Lawson. Father of Trent, Luke, and Peyton. Brother of Brandie Campbell, and step brother of Taylor Brown. Grandson of Marilyn Lawson and the late Richard B. Lawson, Sr. and the late Doyle M. Boudreaux, Sr. and Patsy L. Boudreaux, and Karen Woolverton and the late Leo Woolverton. Uncle of Juliet, Bailey, and Bella. Nephew of Glen Lawson, Tammy Carter (Jed), Rickey Boudreaux (Collette). Richie is survived by other relatives and many friends who are left to cherish his memory.

Richie was an avid Louisiana Sportsman who loved hunting, fishing, and riding dirt bikes. Family was of most importance, Richie spent the most quality time with his loving family. He will always be remembered for his contagious laugh and his bright smile. Richie will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love him.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, June 10th, 2023 at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 11:00AM and continue until the service time.
