Ronald Paul Dufrene, Sr., 48, of Marrero, was born on November 30, 1961 and passed away September 17, 2010. Ronald was an accomplished athlete, hard-working and dedicated employee of Northrop Grumman for 30 years, loyal friend, caring son and brother, loving father to Ronald Dufrene Jr., and devoted husband and best friend of 30 years to Jennifer U. Dufrene. Ronald’s generosity to all who had the opportunity to know him will always be remembered. He was an inspiration to many throughout his life and will continue to be as he lives in our hearts forever. Ronald is preceded in death by his mother, Marie and brother, Gilbert Jr. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, son, Ronald Jr. (Christina), father, Gilbert Sr., brother, Wilbert, sisters-in-law, Kay, Joan and Katherine, brother-in-law, Stafford, mother-in-law, Rose, and beloved pet, Georgie. A memorial service will take place at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 6:30 PM.
