Rosa "Rose" Armenia Cajar Batista Tully

Beloved mother of Dixie Tully Boudreaux (Keith), Patrick M. Tully (Lori), Leonard J. Tully, the late Thomas A. Tully, Wayne G. Tully and Daniel J. Tully.

She is the loving grandmother of Shannon Boudreaux Wilson (William), Keith Boudreaux, II (Pam, Michael Tully (Mikaela), Carl Tully, Mallie Tully (Jason), Thomas A. Tully (Jolina), Jason Tully (Alexis), Kirk Tully (Alexis) and David Boudreaux (Abby). She is the great-grandmother of William, Collin, Gabriel, Luke, Rey, Alli, Abbi, Kristofer, Kyle, Bryce, Joseph, Zoey, Porter, Dakota, Brady, Brooklyn, Laela, Braelynn and Lincoln. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Kathy Tully, her furbaby "Blue Eyes" and several nieces and nephews.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents Cesar Cajar, Sr. and Otilda Batista Cajar. Her siblings, the late Lesbia Bonissi and Cesar Cajar, Jr.

Rose was born in Panama City, Panama but eventually made the United States her home where she lived in Marrero, Louisiana for many years.

She attended nursing school in New Orleans, she lived in the Irish Channel, she worked at Parasol's Restaurant, Nicholson & Loop Grocery and was a Nanny to several wonderful families.

Rose will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She will always be a light that shines in their hearts.

A visitation for Rose will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, Louisiana 70072. A religious ceremony will occur Friday, March 21, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, Louisiana 70072. A committal service will occur Friday, March 21, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at Restlawn Cemetery, 3540 US-90, Avondale, Louisiana 70094.
