He was born in Westwego, where he spent most of his time. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Stephen Korle and Dolores Dours Korle, as well as his brother, Don Korle. He is survived by his daughters, Amanda Hoffmann (Andrew) and Stephanie Korle (Samuel), his devoted sister, Romaine Korle Hazelwood (Gary), and his nieces, Danna Hazelwood Barrilleaux (Barry) and Erica Hazelwood Camardelle (Eric).
A graveside service will be held at Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 10:00 AM.
