Troy James Williams

Troy James Williams, a self employed fisherman, age 49, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 29, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Verna Roussel Williams, his three beloved daughters, Nicole Williams Perque (Brad), Troyann Williams and Mary Williams. He was the devoted grandfather of Claire Elizabeth Perque and soon to be Liam Michael Perque. He was the adoring son of Fay Martin Williams and Roy Joseph Williams, Sr. and he was the brother of Roy Joseph Williams, Jr. (Sandy), Todd Joseph Williams (Linda) and Ted James Williams, Sr. (Lisa). He is also survived by his mother-in-law Judy Kraemer Roussel and a loving host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

He will be remembered for his love of family and his special gift for caring for children. He loved to fish and hunt and spend time with friends and family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 beginning at 5:00 PM and lasting until 9:00 PM and again on Thursday, February 2, 2012 beginning at 8:00 AM and lasting until the service begins at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna, LA. Condolences may be offered online at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
