He is the loving husband for 71 years to Bernadette Marcello Brugier. He is the beloved father to Dian Campbell (Robert) and Cindy Vicknair (Mark).
He is preceded in death by his parents Everett Brugier and Mildred Brugier, his son Bill Brugier (Lydia), his brother EJ Brugier (Carol) and his son-in-law Mark Vicknair.
William is the proud grandfather to William Wade Brugier and Danielle Taruc (Marty) and one great-grandson Grayson Taruc.
William retired from the New Orleans Police Department and BP Petroleum. He loved fishing and good food. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his wife.
