Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2014 in the New Hope Worship Center with the Rev. Rich Bowen officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the hour of service in the New Hope Worship Center.
Mr. Arrington was a native of Jefferson Co., but has lived in Augusta for many years. He was a retired insurance salesman for Nationwide Insurance Company. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Melvie Arrington, his children, Vicki (Bernard) Hinson, Berry M. Arrington Jr., Rusty (Rhonda) Arrington, his sister, Helen Odom, Brothers, Bud (Gail) Arrington, Dan Arrington, 9-grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the New Hope Worship Center Missions Department.
