David retired from the U.S. Army as a command Sergeant Major. After a 23 year career, with his last assignment as the Commandant of the Signal Corp. NCO Academy on Fort Gordon. David’s greatest loved was spending time with his family, fishing, and serving his church.
David was preceded in death by his parents David & Lucy Buckley, and a brother Richard Buckley. Survivors include his wife, Connie G. Buckley, his daughter, Christiane (Don) Buckley Brantley, his grandchildren, Sadye Brantley, Hannah Brantley, and his two sisters, Marilyn Buckley, and Joan Schmidt.
In Lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Martinez United Methodist Church.
