SFC Eldon F. Wilson, 74, of Martinez, Georgia entered into rest Wednesday, November 06, 2013. He retired from the United States Army after over 20 years of dedicated service. Pete was a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church and enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
Pete is survived by his loving wife, Emmi W. Wilson; daughter, Mary (Bob) Pierson; grandson, Robby Pierson; three great-granddaughters, Haley, Lillie, and Makinsey Pierson; brother, David (Cindy) Wilson; sister, Mary Helen (David) Hall; best friend, Bob Hatcher; and his precious 4-legged companion, Muffin.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3 -5 PM at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Columbia Road Chapel.
A celebration of Pete’s life will be held 11 AM, Monday, November 11, 2013 at Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church with Pastor Eddie Bradford officiating. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
