She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lamar Richards, Sr.; her former husband, Hillman Allen; her parents, Hoyt and Wilma Mobley; and her brothers and sister, Russell Mobley, Leonard Mobley, Harold Mobley, Jean McDonald, and Allen Mobley. Survivors include her son, Jack Lamar Richards, Jr. (Betty); son, Jon Richards (Jane); daughter, Gloria Hill (Robert); six grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a gift to your favorite ministry in honor of Mrs. Ellen Richards.
Graveside services will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at the Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery, 1606 Wrens Hwy, Thomson, GA 30824.
The family will receive friends at the graveside thirty minutes prior to service time.
