Evans – Gabriel James Wilkie 10, entered into rest on Sunday October 2, 2011 at

Egleston Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

A mass will be celebrated 11AM on Saturday October 8, 2011 at St Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, with Father Michael Roverse celebrant. Following the mass there will be a service of remembrance at 12:30 PM at the church.

Gabe was a fourth grader at Greenbrier Elementary School. He enjoyed and played football and soccer with the Columbia County Recreation Department. A student in the faith formation at St. Teresa of Avila, Gabe also was a friend to many at the Oncology Clinic at the Medical College of Georgia.

Survivors include his parents David and Christine Wilkie; three brothers Jacob, Nathaniel and Lucian Wilkie; maternal grandparents John and Sallie Berilla; paternal grandparents David and Marcelyn Wilkie and Jo-Anne Willkie. He is also survived by numerous family, extended family and friends.
