Martinez, GA – Mr. Jack Davis entered into rest on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the age of 84. Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, and hosted a dove shoot for the past 40 years in Warrenton, GA. He also loved roses and sunflowers and planted 90 acres of sunflowers at one of his farms. He was a member of The Sanctuary in Evans, GA. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Essie Davis; sister, Francis Davis; brother, Billy Davis; and his dachshund, Bella. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Martha Davis; son, Rick Davis; daughter, Kim Davis; stepdaughter Tanya (Bill) Ludlow; stepson Todd (Glenda and Dalton) Culbreth; grandson, Michael; and his beloved 4-legged companion, Skippy.
The family will be receiving friends from 11 AM until 1 PM Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM, with Pastor Don Richards officiating at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Johnson United Methodist Church in Warrenton, GA.
