Mr. Pinson retired from the United States Air Force. After retirement, he worked in several civil service jobs from 1975 until 2002.
Mr. Pinson is preceded in death by his sons, Newton R. Pinson III and Andrew W. Pinson. Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Pinson; daughter, Victor Louise Moore (Christian); great-granddaughter, Stephanie Moore; sisters, Lee Pinson Miller, Pat Clay (Neal), and Nancy Inglett (Forest); brother, Larry Pinson (Ann); and sister-in-law’s, Betty Lake (Boyd) and Beverly Abbott (Don).
A memorial service will be held at 11am, Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Chapel of Warren Baptist Church.
