Mrs. Rachel Cooper Pochini, 77, of Evans, Georgia passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014. She retired from teaching at Wilkinson Gardens Elementary School. Mrs. Pochini was Past Matron of Martinez Chapter 464 Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed traveling and playing bridge. She was also a member of Martinez United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Pochini was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 49 years, Alfred A. Pochini. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Kay; son, Steve Pochini; sister, Freddie (Robert) Hobbs; brother, Ted (Beatrice) Cooper; two grandsons, William Alexander Kay and Andrew Jordan Kay.
Memorial Services will be held 11 AM, Monday, June 30, 2014 at Martinez United Methodist Church, 3614 Washington Road, Augusta, GA with Rev. Gary McWhorter officiating.
