Rhonda Shapiro Graybeal

Mrs. Graybeal was a philanthropist and served on numerous boards. She also served as the first female president of Adas Yeshurun Synagogue. She served as a member of the Women’s Philanthropy. She was a member on the Board of University Hospital and the advisory Board at the Medical College of Georgia. She was the chairman of the Jernigan Golf Tournament. Mrs. Graybeal dedicated a conference room at the College of Nursing School in memory of her husband, Lloyd Graybeal.

Ms. Graybeal is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Graybeal; brother, Terry Shapiro; and sister, Linda Shapiro. Survivors include her sister, Marcia Moattar; nieces and nephews, Andrea Moattar, Jason Moattar, Scott Shapiro, and Michelle Smith (Ivan); and great-nieces and nephews, Hillary Smith and Alex Smith.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am Friday, March 23, 2017 at the Adas Yeshurun Synagogue in Augusta, GA . Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Augusta, GA.

Pall bearers who will honor Mrs. Graybeal are Scott Shapiro, Jason Moattar, Ivan Smith, Gerald Shapiro, Carl Bogo, Michael Shapiro and Dr. Ronald Daitch. Honorary Pall bearers are Steve Curry, Joel Conte and Michael Howard.
