Brian Jay Moore

Brian Jay Moore, 60, of Hedgesville WV, passed away on April 8, 2026. Born March 14, 1966, Brian was a devoted husband, loving father and doting grandfather who delighted in spending time with his grandchildren.

Brian had a big heart and a hands-on spirit. He enjoyed shooting guns and was known for his distinctive chainsaw carvings, creating bold pieces of art that reflected his creativity and hardworking nature. He brought laughter, skill and a steady presence to family gatherings and was always proud to share his hobbies with those he loved.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Moore; daughters Kayla Lowery and Taylor Moore; grandchildren Weston, Beckham, Ledger, Indigo and Juniper; sisters Joy Comer and Patricia Payne; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Moore and Marion Bucklin Moore. His brothers Christopher, Charles, and Kenneth Moore also his sister Beth Orsini.

Brian will be remembered for his warmth, his craftsmanship, and the joy he found in family. Details about memorial arrangements will be shared by the family at a later time. Condolences may be sent to Angela and the family.
