Carol was married to Clarence Wampler, Jr., who preceded her in death in 2011.
Carol was a devoted and loving mother to her two daughters, Holly Stergiou and Kimberly Wright, who were the center of her world.
She is survived by her siblings, listed from oldest to youngest: Theresa Webster; Ronald Tiller; Charlotte Harmantas; Dwayne Tiller (spouse Joyce Tiller); Pamela Duncan (spouse Jimmy Duncan); Lee Blevins Jr.; and Dixie Blevins-Bozenko (spouse Joe Bozenko). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Carol was known for her generous heart and deep love for family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a natural way of making people laugh, often bringing light into a room without even trying. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, including her beloved dog, Marshmallow, who was rarely far from her side.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 14, at 11:00 a.m. at Full-Gospel Pentecostal Church, located at 36 Laing Drive, Martinsburg, WV 25404. A celebration of life with food and fellowship will immediately follow the service at the church.
Carol’s faith was a source of comfort throughout her life, and her family finds peace in knowing she is now resting in the presence of her Lord, reunited with loved ones who went before her.
“Let not your heart be troubled… In My Father’s house are many rooms… I go to prepare a place for you.”
