Donald Griffin Robinson

Born June 20, 1930, in Fredrick Co, VA; he was the son of the late Curtis Griffin Robinson and Ester Fishel Robinson.

Donald served our country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Martinsburg VFW and an avid fisherman. Donald also owned and operated Robinson Plumbing for over 40 years.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Mary Robinson; brothers and sisters, Guy D. Robinson, Janie Audrey Corbin, Johnny C. Robinson, Nancy L. Oats, Bonnie E. Robinson, “Pat” Paul W. Robinson.

Donald will be sadly missed by his wife of 18 years, Shirley Robinson; his children, Steve and his wife Judy Robinson of Martinsburg, Diane and her husband John Brown of Martinsburg, Jerry Robinson of Martinsburg, Dennis and his wife Frances Robinson of Winchester, VA, Sandra and her husband Joey Purdham of Stanley, VA, Timothy and his wife Diana Robinson of Martinsburg, Tina Harriston of Martinsburg, WV, Donald and his wife Tracy Robinson of Stephens City, VA.; twenty three grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, six step children and eleven step grand children.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Weatherholtz, Craig Hayes, Michael Robinson, Timothy Robinson, Gregory Cook, Mike Robinson, Allen Shutts, and Ronnie Shutts.

Friends may call Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 5 to 7pm at Rosedale Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Rosedale Funeral Home with Pastor Charles F. Milburn officiating.

Interment will immediately follow with Military Honors at Rosedale Cemetery.
