Doris J. Butts

Born November 14, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Charme Hedges.

Doris retired from Corning Glass Works after 30 years.

She is survived by two daughters: Vickie Davies and husband Jim and Karen Johnson and husband Daniel; two granddaughters: Heather Baker and husband Edward and Janesa Garns and husband Wayne; four great-grandchildren: Cody, Devin and Abigail Baker and Kaitlyn King; two brothers: Leo Hedges and wife Darlene and Thomas Hedges and wife Mary Ann and five sisters: Nadean Walden and husband Ray, Arlene Blair and husband Sam, Darlene Brindle and husband Glen, Victoria Dunham and husband Wayne and Beverly Payne and husband Dennis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Paul Butts; infant brother, Donald Hedges; and infant grandson, Jeremy Johnson.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6-8pm at Rosedale Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Don Webb officiating.

Interment will follow in Hedgesville Church Cemetery with Pastor Keith Walsworth officiating the graveside service.
