I have 29 years of wonderful memories that I shared with this man I called Dad. I will never forget the laughter and tears .He was an awesome father and grandfather. He had a nickname for everyone and was loved by all. I will continue to keep those fond memories alive by sharing them with his grandkids and great grandchildren . We will never forget him. As a child, my encounters with Uncle Jerry usually began with the question, "Which one are you?" -- followed by the statement, "You Anderson girls all look alike. Dorothy and her Seven Dwarfs." After which, he would remind us of the Dwarf character names he had given us and then stand back and grin as we sisters debated who was deserving of "grumpy" and "dopey." Jerry had a quick wit and sense of humor that he freely shared. He always took the time to acknowledge and joke with even the youngest at family gatherings. I can't help but smile when I think of him. He will be sadly missed. He was a good man. My prayers and thoughts are with you Aunt Joan, Brant, Julie and Trent. With much love, "Bashful."

I will truly miss Uncle Jerry. He was truly one of a kind. He loved to talk about the civil war as much as I do and we did, a lot! 
He loved to joke around and tease me. I told him a million times he had this dwarf named wrong but I'll concede Uncle Jerry. Your favorite niece, (I'm not-) "Grumpy"

Joanie, Julie, Brant, Trent and the rest of my West Virginia Family, I am completely heartbroken. I loved Uncle Jerry very, very much and will miss him deeply. The world lost a great man but heaven gained another Angel. Much love to you all, until I see you again....Love Teri~

Fond memories of working with Jerry at NAPA. He always had a story to tell. My heart is with the family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Jerry was a good man and always full of life and always a joke or two.
While growing up on South St., Jerry was like a father figure to me. 
There was never a time that I would run into him that he didn't have a hug for me.
You all are in my prayers for strength and comfort. May God carry all of you through this difficult time.
Jerry will always be in your heart and with you.
