Jo Carole Duke-Toms

Born on July 19, 1948 in Martinsburg, WV, she was the daughter of Frances H. Crouse and the late Calvin L. Crouse Sr.

Jo was the property manager for Spring Run and Patrick Henry for 30 years, where she made many friends in her residents. During her time as manager, she won many awards to include the USDA Manager of the Year.

Jo adored her grandchildren and visiting with them every chance she got. She also enjoyed vacationing at Top Sail Island.

She is survived by her mother, Frances Crouse; son, Barry Duke and wife, Tammy; daughter, Lynne Thompson and husband, Todd; husband, Gary Toms; grandchildren: Kristina Potts, Samantha Esposito and husband Josh, Ashlee Duke, Sierra Popella, Sylvia Popella; great-grandchildren: Calvin and Leo; brother, Chris Crouse and wife Sylvia; sister, Kathy; sister-in-law, Sandra; and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her father, Calvin L. Crouse Sr.; brothers: Calvin L. Crouse Jr. and Wayne Crouse; and brother-in-law, Tom Weng.

There will be a memorial service and gathering for Jo on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville from 12-5PM
