Born April 1, 1978, he was the son of Calvin W. Askew Jr. and Melody L. Askew.
Kevin was a carpenter and was always very proud of his work. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, football and family time.
In addition to his parents, Kevin is survived by one daughter, Emily Askew; two sons: Austin Askew and Calvin Askew III; one sister, Chasity Eggleton and husband, Monte of Martinsburg; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Emily Griffin; and maternal grandmother, Nancy Abshire.
